Akon shocks fans by ranting men are ‘divine kings’ to be worshipped by women | Entertainment

Akon has ranted that men are “divine kings” and “gods” that women should serve.
The 49-year-old “Lonely” rapper – who is said to have nine children by four women – shocked fans by adding that science has rendered women redundant in childbirth and said Americans need to understand how women do their men like a “king” in Africa.
Speaking recently on The Joe Budden Podcast, he said: “(Men are) gods, we are the ones who create life…the women (in Africa) treat you like a man, like a king.
“They don’t compete with you or fight for equality because they understand that men and women can never be the same. They understand their roles.
“The roles there and very defined and very clean here, even if you say the word role to a woman.
“When I say, ‘If you play your part and you play mine…’ they say, ‘What the hell do you mean play my part? Which role?’
“Everyone has a role, which is the infrastructure of life, and when your wife doesn’t understand her position that she plays in life, everyone gets confused.
“How can a man and a woman play exactly the same role, where’s the balance? In Africa, the woman clearly plays the role of the woman.”
Adding how he believes women were created to endure pain for men, Akon continued, “God instilled love, emotion and compassion in a woman because those things need to be instilled as a mother figure.
“That’s why women are so quick to catch feelings and can take so much pain, because that loyalty is natural.
“As a woman, it is her job to support the man. The men are the kings and the divines of this universe, a woman can never compare with the man. They have to understand that here in America.
“Women don’t create life, they support the creation of life. We are gods, we are the ones who create life.
“Let me explain the science to you. A man can now create life without a woman, but a woman cannot create life without a man.
“If I wanted to do it now, I would squirt my sperm and put it in an incubator and give it nine months, maybe even less with today’s science, and a baby will be born.
“A woman can’t do that. So men, we are the real creators of life.”
Akon added that he preferred the more “defined” gender roles of the 1950s, adding: “Men have lost the notion of the power they actually hold and passed it on to women. Here in America men are afraid of their power
“Until the man has stood up, the woman has every right to take your place and say she is your equal.”
Dubbed “sexist” for his comments, Akon – real name Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam, who recently boasted about the dramatic results of his hair transplant – also shocked fans in December when he told Sky News that someone from rapper insulted Kanye be West’s anti-Semitic tirades “not to take things too personally”.
