Howard Center holds job fair on February 4

Burlington, VT – The Howard Center is hosting a job fair on Saturday, February 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the O’Brien Community Center in Winooski. The Howard Center offers a variety of positions across multiple departments including Facilities, School Programs, Housing, Long Term Support and Services, Information Management, Crisis and more. Attendees at the job fair will have the opportunity to speak with the Howard Center’s experienced staff and learn first-hand about the organization’s rewarding career opportunities.
“Employees are one of our most valuable resources. We offer great benefits, training, health and dental insurance, 36 days of paid time off, sign-on bonuses for some positions, and a minimum of $20 an hour,” said Heather Simmons, Talent Acquisition Manager at Howard Center.
“We’ve had several successful job fairs to date and look forward to returning to the O’Brien Community Center to meet people who want to help make a difference in the lives of others and our community,” said Simmons.
Howard Center program staff and talent advisors are on hand to update you on our current job openings. The Howard Center encourages job fair attendees to bring a copy of their resume, resume, or work experience summary. Kiosks will be provided for on-site applications. Free parking is available on site and refreshments are provided.
Information about the Howard Center’s Shared Living Provider program will also be available. Although not employees of the Howard Center, residential community providers are commissioned by the Howard Center to provide housing and valuable support to adults with developmental disabilities who are cared for by the agency. There will be information for interested individuals and families to take this opportunity to connect with an individual client.
