We are very pleased that Karlyn has been named Board Chair of the International Women’s Forum Arizona. It’s an honor and a privilege.

Unitek Learning is pleased to announce that Karlyn Van Oosten, Vice President of Strategic Business Development, has been appointed President of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Arizona. The IMF’s primary mission is to advance women’s leadership, advocate for equality around the world, and create mentoring programs.

“We are very pleased that Karlyn has been appointed as the Board Chair of the International Women’s Forum Arizona. It is an honor and a privilege,” said Janis Paulson, Chief Executive Officer at Unitek Learning. “IWF is one of the country’s exemplary non-profit organizations that advances women into leadership positions across careers, cultures and continents. We believe that science and inclusivity are key when it comes to supporting the future of healthcare. This is a core belief that IWF shares with all of us at Unitek.”

Since the 1970s, the IWF has hired more than 500 international fellows to nurture the potential of the next generation. This non-profit organization wants to shape a future where leadership has no gender. It has also brought together more than 7,500 leaders across six continents in 33 countries and 74 local forums around the world. As an affiliate of the IWF, the Arizona Forum includes over 100 exceptional women in fields ranging from business to the arts, government and science.

“We look forward to our 2023 Board of Directors, which will bring diverse expertise and insights to our important work,” said Karlyn Van Oosten, IWF Arizona Board Chair and Vice President of Strategic Business Development at Unitek Learning. “I am personally honored to welcome such a strong group of dedicated community leaders and I look forward to working with each of them this year.”

Karlyn Van Oosten is a results-oriented leader with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Throughout her career, Karlyn has launched more than 800 health and nearly 1,000 education alliances nationwide. She has held many leadership positions in various institutions and has used her expertise to build collaborative relationships with health systems, develop workforce solutions and enhance employment opportunities.
