Graham Rihn, Founder and CEO, RoadRunner recycling was honored with the waste360 Changemaker Award recognizing leaders who create real, meaningful and positive change for the waste, recycling and organic industries. Rihn saw an opportunity to help expand recycling across North America with RoadRunner Recycling. The company has experienced tremendous growth and now serves 20 markets across North America, including raising over $130 million in capital. Rihn also led the acquisition of Compology, a leading waste meter technology company, which will enable the company to meet its 2030 ESG goals.
A jury of experts waste360 evaluated the nominations and consulted an external consultant to select the finalists and winners.
