There is a summer sale at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are already planning to sell a number of first-team players this summer, having completed 16 first-team signings since taking over Todd Boehly and Clearlake last summer.

The Guardian reports: Hakim Ziyech ‘will be available in the summer’ after joining Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day.

Aubameyang close in on Barcelona over shock January return – Paper Round

“Chelsea, who inked a deal to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig in the summer, will also be listening to offers for Christian Pulisic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. It remains to be seen if Internazionale will take Romelu Lukaku on loan for another season.

“Callum Hudson-Odoi is unlikely to stay at Chelsea when he returns from his loan at Bayer Leverkusen. Arsenal are understood to be pursuing Hudson-Odoi while Manchester City have been linked with Ben Chilwell. Conor Gallagher could be forced to consider his.” Options after the arrival of Enzo Fernandez.

“The club’s most urgent task now is to agree a new deal with Mason Mount, who has 18 months left on his contract. Liverpool could bid for Mount in the summer if talks with the midfielder drag on.”

PSG are furious with Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain are said to be “angry” at Chelsea after Hakim Ziyech’s loan move was called off on deadline day. PSG believe the west London club were responsible for a series of managerial blunders and now their relationship is at an all-time low.

The Telegraph reveals: PSG “will think twice before re-engaging with Chelsea as relations between the clubs threaten to hit rock bottom over the ‘Class A circus’ surrounding Hakim Ziyech’s aborted move to France.

“Ziyech was due to be loaned out to PSG for the remainder of the season but the transfer was called off after contract documents were received too late to make the 11pm (GMT) transfer deadline and an appeal was rejected.

“There was a suggestion that Chelsea simply averted their eyes from the ball as they completed Enzo Fernandez’s British record signing. This is supported by PSG who firmly believe they received unsigned and incorrect documents before finally receiving the correct signed version shortly after the 11pm deadline.”

Bellingham is the real deal

Real Madrid have made Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham their top priority for the summer. The Spanish champions would most like to sign a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema but neither Kylian Mbappe nor Erling Haaland appear available so all focus will shift to Bellingham.

Spanish media outlet AS revealed: “Real Madrid have their main target clear for next summer: Jude Bellingham.

“Bellingham is a priority – a signing that will hopefully prolong Madrid’s move to replenish midfield. Bellingham already knows from Madrid that he is on their agenda and that they will have their proposal before June. Madrid are confident the process will be .” short and satisfactory to all parties.”

Everton are still hoping for a signing

Everton are hoping to get Nottingham Forest to sign free agent Andre Ayew. The Toffees, who sit 19th in the Premier League table, failed to sign a single player in the January transfer window.

The Mail reports: “Following an initial round of talks, which also included sporting director Kevin Thelwell, relegation-threatened Everton are set to hold further personal talks with Ayew.

“However, there is no guarantee that the former Swansea and West Ham star will also join Everton with Nottingham Forest, alongside other interested clubs. After arriving in London on Wednesday night, Ayew will head north ahead of expected talks with Everton and Forest, which are expected to take place in the next 24 hours.

“Everton considered offering Ayew a deal by the end of the season.”
