Brighton vs Chelsea Predictions: Premier League Matchweek 14 Match Odds & Best Bets

Graham Potter’s return to the South Coast was to be an intriguing fight, with the manager’s new team victorious
Brighton (4-3-4) host Chelsea (6-3-2) at the Amex Stadium this weekend during match week 14 of the Premier League.
The Blues enter a nine-game unbeaten streak this weekend after not losing in the Premier League since August while recording a result in their last four Champions League games. Meanwhile, the Seagulls are winless in their last five games in the EPL, having last won against Leicester City on September 4.
Graham Potter will make his first appearance on the south coast since leaving Brighton to manage Chelsea in early September.
Will the hosts show their former coach at home to retain a top-10 position in the table? Or will the visitors extend their winning streak? Let’s look at the current betting lines to find the best Brighton vs Chelsea bets and props.

Brighton vs Chelsea odds updated as of Wednesday 26th October at BetMGM Sportsbook.
Chelsea enter the game as modest favorites with no significant over/under inclinations. This seems like a fantastic time to ride the Blues in a simple 3-way handicap bet at +150 as they aren’t usually available at such cheap odds.
Brighton vs Chelsea Prediction
Brighton 1-2 Chelsea
Chelsea have not been at their best away from Stamford Bridge this season, averaging one goal per game with their only two defeats coming away. However, the Blues are currently in top form and are yet to lose a Premier League game under Potter.
A key reason for the Londoners’ recent success is the goalkeeper’s performance Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Spaniard averages 4.2 saves per game with a 91% success rate.
Brighton will look to break through Kepa’s defense with a striker Leandro Trossard, who averages one shot on goal per game and has scored six of the Seagulls’ 15 goals this season. However, they will need a bigger effort from their own Spanish goalkeeper Robert Sanchez if they will get a result against Chelsea.
Look for the Blues to continue and capitalize on their newfound creativity on offense under Potter Mason Mount, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz, Armando Broja and Christian Pulisic in attack.
There are so many Chelsea forwards listed above because predicting the starting XI is almost impossible. Potter seems to change his formation and tactics every single game, but so far it seems to have worked well.

Brighton vs Chelsea best bets
âž• Chelsea win (+150) at BetMGM Sportsbook
BET: 1 unit
I would consider a Chelsea to win and both teams to score bet to increase the winning potential but given Kepa’s recent form I won’t bet against a goal for the Blues.
At least in combination with my main bet for the match.
âž• Chelsea win: Exact score 1-2 (+850) at BetMGM
BET: 1 unit
As mentioned above I didn’t feel comfortable tying a both teams to score bet to our main bet but I think Brighton will find the back of the net with Chelsea still missing Reece James, Wesley Fofanaand possibly Kalidou Koulibaly.
Rather than taking the -130 odds for each team to score, I prefer to simply bet on my exact score prediction in this game for a more significant payout.
