The Woodlands girls rout Cleveland, stay undefeated in 13-6A

The Woodlands finished Cleveland 8-0 at District 13-6A on Wednesday night.
The Highlanders are 4-0-1 in the county game, 6-1-4 overall.
Riley Peterson had a brace to lead The Woodlands.
The Woodlands plays at College Park on Saturday at 1 p.m. Cleveland hosts Oak Ridge at noon on Saturday.
Grand Oaks crashes Oak Ridge
Grand Oaks defeated Oak Ridge 2-0 at District 13-6A on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies are 3-0-2 in the district, 5-3-3 overall. Oak Ridge is 2-2, 4-4-2 overall.
Grand Oaks had 26 shots to Oak Ridges one. At half time it was goalless.
Outstanding overall defense was Nicoline Veasey, Ashley Aguilera, Madison Heiken and Bella Piede. Veasey and Madison Bruegger scored the goals. Jorja Bragg and Ashlynn Sharp had assists.
Sophia Dean had the shutout between the posts.
Grand Oaks hosts New Caney at 1 p.m. Saturday. Oak Ridge plays Cleveland Saturday afternoon.
Willis, College Park draw
Willis and College Park drew 1-1 at District 13-6A on Wednesday.
The Wildkats are 3-0-2 in the precinct, 5-5-2 overall. College Park is 2-1-1, 2-5-4.
Summer Clark scored for Willis, assisted by Anna Rodriguez.
Willis plays Caney Creek at 1 p.m. Saturday. College Park is hosting The Woodlands on Saturday at 1pm.
Conroe meets New Caney
Conroe and New Caney drew 2-2 at District 13-6A on Wednesday.
Conroe is 1-3-1 in the district, 2-6-2 overall. New Caney is 0-3-1 in the district, 4-6-2 overall.
Varsity freshman Jazmin Castaneda was a standout for Conroe. She scored the Tigers’ second goal from behind.
Conroe plays Cleveland on February 10 at 7:00 p.m. New Caney plays Grand Oaks at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

Conroe defeats New Caney in an offensive showcase
Conroe beat New Caney 6-4 in Wednesday night’s game against District 13-6A.
The Tigers are 2-2-1 in the district, 6-2-3 overall. New Caney is 0-4 in the district, 3-5-2 overall.
Roger Pioquinto had a brace to speed up Conroe’s attack. Raymond Pioquinto, Joseph Canales, Sattrel Jackson and Eli Carvajal also scored for the Tigers.
Conroe plays at the Grand Oaks on February 7 at 7:30 p.m. New Caney hosts Grand Oaks Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Woodlands dominated Cleveland 5-0 at District 13-6A on Wednesday night.
The Highlanders are 4-0-1 in the district, 9-2-1.
Reinaldo Pereira had a brace to lead The Woodlands. Henrique Caputo and Gaspar Marquez also scored. Danny Ramsey had the goal in goal.
The Woodlands hosts College Park on Saturday at 1 p.m. Cleveland plays Oak Ridge on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
College Park tunes out Willis
College Park defeated Willis 5-0 on Wednesday night in District 13-6A.
The Cavaliers are 3-0-1 in the district, 7-2-1 overall. The Wildkats fell to 1-3-1, 5-4-1.
Five different players scored for College Park. The defence, led by Chris Case and Jason Pirir, was exceptional and didn’t allow any shots on goal.
College Park plays at The Woodlands on Saturday at 1pm. Willis hosts Caney Creek at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Grand Oaks, Oak Ridge pull
Grand Oaks and Oak Ridge drew 2-2 at District 13-6A on Wednesday.
Grand Oaks is 2-1-2 in the district, 5-2-4 overall. Oak Ridge is 1-1-2 in the district, 7-3-2 overall.
Max Magsingit and Tristan Chapman scored for Grand Oaks. Chapman equalized from the penalty spot and played superbly in midfield.
Carlos Avila and Jacob Webb hit the net for Oak Ridge. Cristian Alvarado and Tristan Monteblanco had assists.
Grand Oaks plays Saturday at 1 p.m. in New Caney. Oak Ridge hosts Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
