SECTION 00 1113 TENDER FOR OFFERS PROJECT: FARGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS SOUTHERN COLLEGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT FOR COOLING WATER SYSTEMS NO. 2022252 OWNER: FARGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS 700 7TH ST. S. FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA, 58103 Separate sealed bids for each major civil work for the replacement cooling water system at Fargo Public Schools South High School, 1840 15th Ave. S., Fargo, North Dakota, will be received by Fargo Public Schools at the office of Jackie Gapp, Business Manager, Fargo Public Schools, 700 7th St. S., Fargo, North Dakota, 58103 by 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday , February 2, 2023. This project is primarily a mechanical project. It includes some general and electrical work which will be included within the scope of the Single Prime Contract. A pre-bid briefing meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10:00 am and another Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:00 am to allow contractors to tour the site and review the bid requirements. In order to be able to submit a bid as a prime contractor, attendance at at least one of the meetings is mandatory. The information for bidders, the bid form, the contract form and form of performance and payment guarantee, drawings, specifications and other contract documents are available for inspection at the following locations: Builders Exchanges of Fargo, North Dakota. Electronic copies of the bid documents may be requested by emailing [email protected] at the CMTA office located at 2201 12th St. N., Suite E, Fargo, North Dakota 58102 to reject any or all bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the full bid amount, issued by the bidder as principal and by a suretyship company licensed to do business in that state, provided that if the client’s offer is accepted and the order is awarded to the client, the client executes a contract in accordance with the terms of the offer and a statutory obligation of the contractor within ten days of the announcement of the award and concludes regulations and decisions of the board of directors. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids under Section 43-07-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. A copy of the bidder’s current license must be included in the bid bond envelope. No bid will be read or considered that does not fully comply with the above binding and license provisions and a defective bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the bidder.
