Author Brian G. Walsh book signing. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Support the Jackson Public Schools Food Services Program in 2023. On Tuesday, January 31st, the Jackson Coffee Company will host a special book signing event to support the program that is helping feed Jackson school children. Brian G. Walsh will be autographing copies of his epic supernatural thriller novels The Last Angel to Fall, A golden Day in Hell and No Place for Mercy. 50% of profits are donated to the Jackson Public Schools Food Services Program. 201 S. Free interactive digital art demonstration. 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We’re excited to announce the addition of our brand new Creative Technology program, launching at the Jackson School of the Arts this winter! Join us in our lobby on Tuesday, January 31 from 4pm to 7pm and take part in an exciting interactive digital art installation by local multimedia artist and new JSA Instructor Matt Rozensky. A wide range of different interactive works will be available to play with. Participants can create beautiful patterns with their voice, have their picture taken in the 4th dimension, create abstract paintings with their dance moves, and more! High-resolution digital renderings and physical prints are available for those who want to take their work home. Matt will also be promoting and answering questions about his new workshop, The Digital Canvas: An Introduction to Computer Generated Art and Creative Technology, taking place Tuesday, February 21 at JSA. Most importantly, they help develop everyone’s imagination! East Branch Storytime: Tuesdays, 11am (ages 0-5) Storytimes run weekly through March 3rd.
