Oxford Luck Finds Market offers networking opportunities for small businesses

The Oxford Lucky Finds Market is hosting its first monthly market at the Lafayette County Multipurpose Arena on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 9am to 2pm. The aim of this market is to create a platform for networking opportunities for small and local businesses, start-ups, artisans, resellers, farmers and bakers. This market will bring economic growth to Oxford while providing resources and building connections that will lead to local entrepreneurial ventures. This market is supported by a grant from the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council (YAC), Lafayette County, Mississippi Arts Commission and Visit Mississippi. Supported by the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce, Salvation Army and Stronger Together Oxford.

“We are very excited about this new opportunity to support local business owners and entrepreneurs as we offer local small businesses in their seed or early stage stages a way to network and gain exposure through a monthly accessible marketplace. “As an avid saver and owner of a small resale business, The Collective Chic, I saw the need for small businesses to grow and have resources readily available to them to get the support they need,” said Nicole Miller, co-event coordinator. “The support I have received from the community with my business selling, upholstering and delivering furniture sets across Oxford and surrounding counties via the Market Place has been overwhelming. I’m excited to be collaborating with like-minded individuals and to provide a space for all other creatives like me to thrive and grow,” said co-event coordinator Challne Barnes.
