Harry Styles Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction During California Concert, Apologizes & Says “My Trousers Ripped”

Harry Styles recently had a somewhat awkward moment on stage when he suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a concert in California.
While performing a concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Thursday, Styles ripped his pants, according to videos that have since circulated on social media. The moment happened when Styles sang his song “Music for a Sushi Restaurant.”

“My pants are torn,” the 28-year-old singer and former member of boy band One Direction told fans. “I feel it necessary to apologize to some of you up front.”
“I promise it’s not part of the show,” Styles joked while trying to hide the tear. “…this is a family show. Or is it?” he added.
Thursday’s concert was a follow-up to Styles’ love on tour. It was also the first of three shows Styles originally scheduled for November but was forced to reschedule due to “band sickness.”
The “As It Was” singer’s show drew adoring fans and A-list celebrities alike. Reality TV star Kylie Jenner, talk show hosts Trevor Noah and Ellen DeGeneres, and actresses Julie Bowen and Jennifer Aniston were all in attendance. TMZ reported. Bowen even brought a homemade sign to the concert. The Emmy-winning actress crafted a glowing heart that read “Harry, I’m old” on one side and “But I know what I’m doing” on the other.
Styles kicked off his 120-show tour on September 4, 2021. The tour, which sold 2.6 million tickets, made stops in the United States, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The final two shows of the tour are scheduled for January 31st and February 1st at the Acrisure Arena in Southern California with special guest Madi Diaz.
Styles announced he would be adding dates love on tour back in the summer while in the middle of a multi-week stint at Madison Square Garden. He used the tour to promote his third studio album, harry’s house, which was released on May 20, 2022 through Columbia Records.

The album, which marks the UK’s biggest release for 2022, contained the singles “As It Was”, “Late Night Talking” and “Music for a Sushi Restaurant”. In the UK, the album sold 160,000 copies and spent six non-consecutive weeks at the top of the UK Official Albums Chart in 2022. billboard specified.
The album also helped Styles earn six nominations at the 65th GRAMMY Awards. The lead single “As It Was” snagged nominations for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video. Harry’s house also nominations for coveted album of the year and best pop vocal album.
Simon Cowell, host of America’s Got Talent and former host of The x factor responded to news of Style’s nominations, saying he “deserved the success and everything.”
“It’s brilliant,” says Cowell, who mentored Styles and his One Direction bandmates The X Factor Britain. said. “I mean, that’s why we did these shows, if I’m being honest with you. If we didn’t find stars like Harry, there would be no point in doing what we do.”
“It’s always a thrill and he absolutely deserves the success and all of that,” he continued.
In addition to six nominations at this year’s GRAMMY Awards, Styles will also perform at “Music’s Biggest Night” on February 5th.
