Erika Jayne breaks silence as she’s seen for the first time since estranged husband was indicted

Real Housewives star Erika Jayne said she had “something to say” after she was first spotted after her estranged husband Tom Girardi was accused of stealing $18 million from clients, including the grieving families of the victims of the Lion Air crash 2018.
Jayne was spotted wearing a light blue Alexander Wang tracksuit as she left downtown Burbank with a pink box and a water bottle. She wore large black sunglasses as she spoke to the photographer on the way to her car.
When asked how she is reacting to her estranged husband’s legal troubles, she said: “You know, I have something to say, but not right now. You will hear from me soon.”
The reality TV show star was also unconcerned about how she weighed in on the drama, when asked if she was worried about “her situation,” the blonde nonchalantly replied, “No.”

However, her unfazed demeanor changed shortly thereafter when she was peppered with questions, including whether she believed Girardi deserved to be charged.
‘Didn’t you hear what I said to you just five seconds ago?’ she snapped at him. ‘That if I had anything to say I would tell you.’
Girardi is already facing a mountain of civil lawsuits over allegations that he stole money from his law firm.
Today he was indicted by grand juries in Chicago and LA on charges of stealing $3 million from the plane crash victims and another $15 million from other clients.

Alzheimer’s plagued Girardi, 83, has been charged with multiple counts of fraud

Tom Girardi, Jayne’s disgraced husband, has been charged with fraud
Prosecutors say he stole the money to pay exorbitant American Express bills and membership fees for two country clubs.
He and Jayne are estranged but have not yet finalized their divorce. In 2020 she filed for divorce.
Girardi, now 83, is in an assisted living center. His wife has publicly claimed that he suffers from dementia and in 2021 he was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
It remains unclear if he is considered fit enough to stand trial. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Girardi was indicted by grand juries in Los Angeles and Chicago on Wednesday. His son-in-law from a previous marriage, David Lira, was also charged in Chicago.

Among the allegations is that he stole $3 million from the settlements of the families of victims of an Indonesian plane crash and another $18 million from his company to cover his extravagant lifestyle.
The indictment is the latest chapter in a sad saga that will end Girardi’s once admired career.
He’s facing multiple lawsuits alleging fraud and theft, which first came to light in 2020, around the same time Erika was filing for divorce.
Much of the drama has played out in episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Christopher Kazuo Kamon, the 49-year-old former CEO of the law firm, was charged along with Girardi in Los Angeles.

Among the victims Girardi allegedly stole was Bias Ramadhan, whose mother died in the crash
Girardi is best known for beating the real-life case of Erin Brokovich in 1993 against Pacific Gas & Electricity Co.
Her lawsuit resulted in a $460 million settlement for Hinkley residents, a record for the time.

David Lira, Girardi’s lawyer, was also charged
Before charges were brought against him, a separate law firm — Chicago-based Edelson PC — reimbursed the families Girardi is accused of ripping off.
This law firm said they would then try to recover the money from Girardi and his company.
Erika Jayne has been named as a defendant in some of the lawsuits against her estranged husband, but has not been charged with any crime.
She was dropped from some of those lawsuits and insists she did nothing wrong.
Some of Girardi’s victims went after her, claiming that she and her estranged husband used stolen funds together to shore up her expensive tastes.
