Montgomery County Food Bank Board of Directors Welcomes New Members, Liz Colvin and Krystle Riley

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — The Montgomery County Food Bank (MCFB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Colvin and Krystle Riley to its Board of Directors. Liz Colvin is Vice President of Merchandising for The Kroger Co. Houston Division. Krystle Riley is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

Liz Colvin, Vice President, Merchandising – Houston Division The Kroger Co.

Liz is Vice President of Merchandising at Kroger Houston, a division of The Kroger Co. based in Shenandoah, Texas. Liz is responsible for managing all aspects of merchandising and overall sales for 108 Kroger stores in Houston, East Texas and Southwest Louisiana. Kroger Houston employs more than 15,000 associates serving customers through food inspiration and encouragement. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master of business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Liz loves spending time with her partner Ryan and their five children – Aiden, Riley, Dylan, Addi and Rogan -, traveling and supporting the children in school and their extracurricular activities.

“It is an honor to serve on the board of directors of the Montgomery County Food Bank because it is so important for us to work together to end hunger,” said Colvin. “Kroger is committed to ending hunger in the communities we serve through our Zero Hunger Zero Waste initiative, and this is a great way to help achieve that goal.”

Krystle Riley, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital

Krystle Riley, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, joined Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital during its inception in 2017. She is responsible for overseeing hospital operations and driving service line strategies in support of unparalleled patient care. Riley received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and her master’s of healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina. In 2013 she completed her Administrative Fellowship at St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Riley is an active member of the community and is a proud board member of the Education for Tomorrow Alliance and now MCFB. As a Class of 2020 graduate of Montgomery County Leadership, Riley is actively involved in many local non-profit organizations. She lives in Conroe with her husband Sean and their two daughters.

“I am honored to serve on the board of directors of the Montgomery County Food Bank,” said Riley. “It is my pleasure to serve an organization that provides important resources to our neighbors in Montgomery County. I look forward to joining the fight against hunger in our community.”
